Paintful PAP test

I was diagnosed 12 years ago with breast cancer, 5 years ago with metastatic b.c. to the vaginal wall. I've been on Aromasin for 5 years. PAP tests are extremely painful. I had one yesterday. I bled for 4 hours after, went to bed, the next day after activity spotted for the next 5 hours. I've had abdoiminal pain for the past 24 hours. I've been told it's because of atrophy. I have no uterus or cervix.
Is this normal? I'm 55 years old. I've been told I'll probably never be able to have vaginal sex again. I can't use estrogen cream because my breast cancer metastasized to the vaginal wall.
At this point, I want to refuse anymore PAP tests. Any thoughts?
