Pathology Report

On July 3rd I had a core needle biospy on a 5 mm nodular mass (three specimens).  I'm not sure of the technical term for the exact procedure but the doctor inserted the needle guided by a sonogram to obtain the tissue.  Today I was given pathology results by my primary care physican since my surgeon is on vacation till early August, and his nurse for two weeks.  The report says "fat - breast tissue not identified."  I'm confused. Should I consider this conclusive or might the doctor have missed his mark on all three samples considering the lump was so small? I'm relieved but still very concerned. I made an appointment to see my surgeon on the day he returns but I waited 8 days for this much information and I could be a real nervous wreck before he August gets here!  Any insight is sincerely appreciated.
