Please help before I give myself a heart attack.

mammo and breast ultrsound found swollen lymph node left breast told to come back on six months for recheck. Should I be worried cause I am freaking out. 42 year old white female

Please don't worry...A lymph node in the breast is common, normal, and means nothing unless it were noted to be abnormally enlarged. Lymph nodes can swell because of an inflammation or infection somewhere in the body and can remain swollen even after the infection is gone.
When there is infection or inflammation somewhere in the body, a lymph node may enlarge,but it doesn't necessarily mean that it's something bad.
I wouldn't worry if I were you.Your doctor's recommendation to recheck the node in your breast, in 6 months time, is not at all unusual.
