I'm 37. I noticed just this week some small pimple-like lumpsLumps in the breasts in both my right and left areolas. The right areola has 3 diagonal pimple-like lumpsLumps in the breasts going all the way to the nipple. The left areola has these small pimple lumpsLumps in the breasts as well, around 5 or more... I don't see any rash, my nipples don't itch and they certainly don't flake.
My question now is, do these small pimple-like lumps pose any threat?like symptoms for paget's disease of the nipples? Is this even possible since the disease occurs commonly on women 40yrs up?
You should keep the area clean, wear lose clothes and see if the pimples go away in a few days.
Pimples on the breast can occur, just like on skin anywhere else.
You should do a breast self exam and report any abnormal features that you might notice - a breast lump, skin changes or nipple discharge etc.
If the pimples do not resolve in a few days consult your physician for a clinical evaluation.
Let us know if you have any other doubts and keep us posted on how you are doing and what does your physician advise.
The chances that this is paget's disease are very less, but a clinical examination by your doctor will help you confirm this.
Goodluck.
