Post Breast Cancer Medication

Hello.  I have been researching various post breast cancer medications.  In order to switch to Aromasin, do you have to have been on Tamoxifen for 2 or 3 years or can Aromasin be used as an alternative to Tamoxifen, Letrozole or Arimidex?

Hi,
It depends on what your oncologist or surgeon recommends.
For instance some postmenopausal women start with Tamoxifen for 3 years and then switch to either Aromasin,Arimidex or Femara.
Others,(like myself) will start immediately with one of the three Aromatase Inhibitors I mentioned.
