Premarin risks?

Premarin risks?

My Gyn  sent me to urologist because of a "caruncel" at the tip of the
urether. It bleeds but spotty - not alot.
Sitz baths helped some but it's still there and not healed

After it didn't heal the urologist recommended light
application of  Premarin [said vagina and urether are inter-related]
I was reluctant since I had estrogen receptor positive DCIS years ago
He said it would be ok - using a tiny amount topically-and not to insert
the cream  Just picked it up and the dosag is 0.625mg

Just finished reading the FDA reports that say the 5 grm is ok
However there are  many articles that are frightening to say the least.
Like the recent Wyath lawsuit. Many women did get breast cancer!

Now I'm more than concerned and considering using a natural
progesterone [health store product] instead
Would appreciate anyone's input of their experience and
or knowledge on Premarin
Thnx!

I wouldn't hesitate to use the cream as directed. This will be for a short time too so it should pose no increased risk for you. It's best at times to limit your research ... you can always find an article somewhere that will indicate that whatever you have been prescribed will harm you in some way. Most Dr.s are very aware of the risk and act accordingly. Regards ....
