He said that I should either go back to that surgeon who told me to wait three months because the radiologist said not to wait until June. or he referred me to another doctor. However, that doctor specializes in treatment of breast cancer. Which doctor should I go to? The radiologist thinks I fall in the percentage that need to have my ducts removed. What happens with this? Are you put on a medication? Is this an easy procedure or do you have to stay over night? If I have the ducts removed; would I have a lot of pain from then on. I'm told that if you have a baby that you would still be able to breast feed. Would it be to painfulPainful menstrual periods if I have the ducts removed?
I don't know what to do. My sister said you'll have saggy breasts. I'm told that the discharge won't stop unless the ducts are removed. What if I am with a guy? My left breast already leaks all over my bra and shirt. Would having the ducts removed cause a lot of scarring?
I have another problem. My breasts are starting to have this redness appear. I'm told that I might have mastitis? What is mastitis. What is done with this? Does that mean I have cancer? Is a biopsy done with this? What is typically used to treat this?
I don't know what to do. I have already had two biopsies of my right breast. The surgeon that removed the one lump on 1/10/05 said he thought the lump looked malignant because it was all black and orange. However, pathology thought it was benign.
I just want to make the right decision and not the wrong one. I'm scared. Cancer runs in my dads side of the family so thick.
