Thank you for answering my question.  I was told that this was a matastatic condition because they do not feel the lymph nodes on the left came from the tumor found on the left because it was so small that it could not be measured.  All of the cells have been Her and whatever the other term was negative.  Only the 8cm tumor removed at mastectomy was hormone receptor positive.  I was told that I have a 80 percent chance or reoccurance and that they did not feel I would make it to 10 years.  That is why I wanted to know what your prognonis was for someone with reoccurent breast cancer( matastatic) within one year after initial chemo and radiation.

Dear CherylAnn8:  Although it appears you have a very aggressive cancer, treatment is available.  No one knows how long a person will live.  I have known several women to live with advanced disease for years.
