Should I be worried?

Should I be worried?

About three months ago I had a scan and a lump was found in my right breast. I had a mamogram (mammogram) and a sonogram done and nothing was found. About three weeks ago, during a self exam I found a lump in the same breast, it feels extremely hard and it won't move when touched. I had another sonogram done and I was told that the lump was still there, and in addition they found 1 more lump on the right side, very close to my armpit. They also found two more lumps in my left breast, one of them also close to my armpit, and I saw a red spot on the sonogram screen and the technician told me it was blood inside the lump. All these lumps are painful when touched. I was told to wait for a week and go back for another sonogram. And this morning while putting deodorant on one of my armpits it hurt when touched. I really do not know if all these are related. If anybody can tell me if I should be worried or if I should schedule another appointment sooner? Thank you.

Hi, I forgot to mention that the technician mentioned that the existing lump (the one I could feel) had an irregular shape. I do not know if this is important, but I asked him and he said he could not say. Thank you again.

You surely must have a Physician who is ordering all these mammograms and ultrasounds .... have you discussed the results of these tests with him/her ?? if not, you should definitely do so as a full report is always sent to your Physician. Lumps that are associated with breast cancer aren't known for being painful but cysts are quite painful. From what you say they probably are related in that they are of a similar nature. I don't quite understand the frequency of the sonograms you mentioned which is another reason to speak with your Physician in detail regarding the results of all the exams.    Regards ....
