Should I be worried?

I went for my first mammogram on 10/1/07, got call from doctor on 10/2/07 explaining that I need add'l mammogram & ultrasound done.  I do have a family history of ovarian and breast cancer.
Findings:
Moderately dense heterogenouse glandular breast tissue bilaterally.  The oblique views appear satisfactory and symmetric.  On the left CC view laterally, with comparison to the right side, there is an asymmetric area of soft tissue prominence. Additional mammographic views on the left are indicated to complete evaluation.

Anyway I know that it is not uncommon to be called back for add'l testing but I have been searching the internet of what the "area of soft tissue prominence" means.  Any answers would be greatly appriciated. Thanks.

Also the veins in my breast are so purple & visible all the way to the nipple area & to be quite honest it is kind of gross looking.  Is this sign or symptom of breast cancer?
