Should I remove the fibroadenoma for breast feeding purposes?

I was diagnosed with a fibroadenoma earlier this year (had both an ultrasound and a needle biopsy to confirm this). It's in my left breast almost directly behind my nipple. It's the size of a small marble. My gyn at the time told me that I shouldn't be concerned with the placement of it, and that it won't affect my ability to breast feed. My current gyn is telling me a different story. I want to have kids in the next year or two, and she said if I don't remove it that it could cause problems breast feeding. I'd rather not have surgery if I don't need to, but I also don't want to risk not being able to breast feed out of one breast.

What do you guys think?

Hi,
If I were you, I would seek a third opinion preferably from a breast Specialist concerning this fibroadenoma. Some women can breast feed without any problems whatsoever and some other do have problems, because fibroadenomas tend to get larger during pregnancy .
Having a third opinion would be valuable to make a proper decision particularly since your fibroadenoma is just behind the nipple and it could cause problems if you intend to breast feed in the future.
Wishing you all the best...
