Small dot on breast

Since October 2008, I have had a pimple size black dot on my breast.  I asked my GYN and she squeezed it and the lump came to the surface, was very painful, and bruised all the way around the area.  She told me it was probably an ingrown hair and to squeeze on it and even poke around with a needle.  I have done this several times with no success.  It stays as a "blood/black" under the skin bump unless I squeeze it or bump it against something.  I was able to squeeze a lot of blood out of it the other night...it kept making popping sounds and would sometimes spray out blood.  I now have an area around it that looks like a "hickey".  Can anyone help me determine if his is serious? The squeezing could have caused the increase of blood. This could very well be an ingrown hair but I'm not sure that the recommended treatment was the best advice. I think a visit to a Dermatologist would be a good idea since you aren't having much luck treating it yourself. I doubt it's terribly serious but it sounds like it needs some Professional attention.   Regards  ....
