Strong nipple sore

Hi! I am 18 years old. I had a little sore in my right nipple during all day yesterday, it was indeed hard and kind of big, so I thought that my breast was getting bigger, but the next day, I just felt a really huge sore and noticed that I had like a little acne-like, small bump in just the center of my nipple. Everything that touches (even my clothe) the little bump in my nipple, it HURTS! It really hurts like hell, at first it was yellowish-like so I thought it was pus but it is hard and is connected into the inside somehow. I think it is in the middle of my mamarian-duct(where you feed your baby) in which I'm still virgin so I don't understand what is happening. My mom says that it's just temporary and that I don't need to see a doctor but I'm really concerned about it and I can stay topless all the time!
I want to know if it is something bad to tell my mom to take me to a doctor.

Hi,  
The nipples contains glands and similar structures just like the skin of the face. If the pores get clogged and secretions accumulate, this can become infected and manifest as pimple like growths.
The chances that this is cancer are negligible.This sounds like an infected pimple.
Try to apply warm compresses, keep the area clean, wear lose clothes and see if the pimple goes away.
If you don't see any improvement in a week or so, please consult your physician in case you need antibiotics.

i think is best to see a doctor.It may be an infection.

I thought it was an infection too so I have been taking the Flamydol pill during the past 3 days and there is no getting any better.
It keeps sore so for now I'm putting a band-aid just on top of it so it doesn't goes on touch with anything.

thank you, I'm thinking in going to the doctor..
If the soring doesn't goes until Sunday, I'll definitely go on Monday.

I am very glad that you'll be seeing your doctor on Monday,if your nipple sore doesn't get any better.
Usually moms know what's best for us,but doctors know even better! LOL.
