Swollen lymphnodes with other symptoms

I started noticing swelling above my collarbone and under my L. arm back in April. The swelling above the collarbone is not a hard lump, the swelling comes and goes, but it does this all day, everyday. The swelling under my arm is not a lump, however it is constant. There is a definate difference in size under my L. arm compared to my R. arm. I had a mammogram which was negative. At first there was little discomfort, the discomfort has gradually progressed to soreness and at times severe pain. I have pain in my shoulder that sometimes radiates down my arm and into my breast, and it is sore and sometimes painful to raise or use my L. arm. I have started to develop nausea quite frequently and my bowel habits have changed, and usually feel as though I have the flu all the time, and usually feel very tired with little energy. I am 48, possibly premenapausal symptoms? Having read several articles this month on Breast Cancer, I am starting to get concerned that I may have a problem. Let me also say that I have been diagnosed with Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy a few years ago and more recently with Fibromyalgia, both due to a severe injury leg injury back in 1999. However, this swelling above my collarbone and under my arm I have never experienced before until April. My question is this, should I pursure further investigation with a Breast Specialist? My husband and I just retired from the Army and have not gotten a doctor in this area yet and I don't want to jump into finding a doctor for this problem if it is just an over-reaction on my part. Dear anniegij:  As the pain and swelling you are experiencing is not in your breast, per se, and the mammogram is negative, a breast specialist may not be the right doctor.  You may benefit more from a general internist who can better address all your symptoms.
