Tamoxifen

by HazelLynn, May 09, 2008 07:55AM
Hi, I have been on Tamoxifen for almost two months and have no side effects YET!, another lady on the posts said that her hot/cold bouts started after six weeks.  The only thing I noticed was that my period was lighter and didnt last as long.

This discussion is related to Tamoxifin (tamoxifen).

My mom took Tamoxifen for 5 years so many years ago and she says she never had a hot flash or any other side effect.  I guess some of us are just lucky and others are even luckier not to experience the issues.

I think a person's response or rather reaction to Tamoxifen is much like a person's reaction to menopause. Some women just stop having their periods and that's it. Some have many symptoms. It's an individual thing and those who suffer no reactions should consider themselves fortunate indeed.
