Tram Flap Reconstruction Problems

Tram Flap Reconstruction Problems

It has been seven long, painful, problemsome years with my surgery.  Until last year, my stomach remained swollen.  One would have thought that I was 5-6 months pregnant.  In February, 2010, I noticed that the swelling began to shrink.  I got the attention of my Oncologist and he had no answers as to "why."  I still have numbness in my stomach area with nerve pain.  Has anyone else experience a similar situation.  Also, I noticed that my right breast has started to change slightly.  My primary noticed the same.  I just had an x-ray and awaiting the result.

I think you would be more likely to receive an answer to your concerns is you would post on the "Reconstructive Surgery" Forum. I personally have had no experience with reconstruction and evidently our other members who answer questions haven't either. I would think your questions might also be better answered by your Plastic Surgeon rather than your Oncologist regarding the changes you mention.    Regards ....
