Hi ,

I hope you have read the reply i have posted in response to your question in the other thread.

Just to be sure, i am posting it gain -

Did you go and see your surgeon? What did he/she say?

Were any investigations done?

Has a diagnosis of incisional hernia been confirmed?

It would really help if you could provide some insight as to what happened between your last post and now.

Do let us know.
Regards.

I went to him years ago expressing my concern about the bulgre in my mid section.  It is extending on the side that my reconstruction is.  He did go back in and I guess tried to remedy the problem but without success.   I just got the opinion that it was something I have to live with.  Excersing or dieting does not take care of the problem and it is noticeable with clothes on and looks disfiguring.

I was not informed at the start that this would be happening and I was just wondering if anything could be done!

Hi,

I think you should get a review with another surgeon at this point in time.

It would be advisable to get a CT scan of the abdomen done too.

It would be the best possible management plan.

Do let us know what the surgeon tells you.

Good luck.
