It would depend on what type of biopsy you are having and you answer should come from the Radiologist OR Sugeon whomever is doing the procedure. It will also depend on how things go during the biopsy; if there are any problems such as bleeding, etc. The way you feel may not have a lot to do with how soon you should travel to that extent. I would rather delay the biopsy a week or so than rush the travel plans. Regards ....
Many people have returned to work the day after a needle or core biopsy-- and some the same day! An excision biopsy is a bit more involved, esp. if done under general anesthesia, or is actually a lupectomy with a drain.
It would be best to get an estimate of readiness for travel from your surgeon's office ( or interventional radiologist's office, if that's who's doing the procedure) and then allow a few extra days in case of (rare) complications.
Hope all turns out well!!
