I have an appt with a surgeon on 3/10/17 for a consultation referred by doctor.

Comparison is made to exam dated:  8/29/2014 ultrasound - Beaumont Breast Center - Farmington Hills.

Color flow and real-time ultrasound of the right breast were performed on the areas of interest retroareolar.  Gray scale images of the real-time examination were reviewed. Ducts are seen retroareolar.

There is a 1.5 cm x 0.2 cm x 0.2 cm oval mass with a circumscribed margin located intraductal in the right breast at 6 o'clock in the retroareolar region.  This oval mass is hyperechoic and is located within a dilated duct.

Color flow imaging demonstrates that there is vascularity present. Patient notes palpable abnormality at this site and nipple discharge.

IMPRESSION: SUSPICIOUS OF MALIGNANCY - FOLLOW-UP RECOMMENDED
The 1.5 cm x 0.2 cm x 0.2 cm oval mass in the right breast appears suspicious of malignancy.  An ultrasound guided biopsy and/or surgical consult are recommended.

NOTE: Doctor notification was done by phone on 2/21/2017 at 2:50 pm by Dr. Borovicka
to Kathy, MA at Dr. Cooper's office.

I'm not sure what you are asking here .... but the recommendation is certainly correct under the circumstances. We definitely wish you well and hope and pray for a negative biopsy. We would love to hear from you when you have the results and of course we'll be here to answer any questions or concerns you have along the way. Please add any additional information to this original post as a comment.  Kindest regards .....
