Ultrasound Results

I need help undestanding the following results:
In the right breast 9 o'clock position, about 8 cm back from the nipple, there is an ovid well circumscribed hypoechoic focus with some increased posterior acoustic enhancement. Vicinity measures approx 6.5 x 2.9 x 6.6 mm, may represent mildly complex cystic versus solid focus. It appears widder than it is tall and has benign characteristics. Bi-Rads Category 3.

Also, if this is a benign finding as suggested why have they referred me to see a surgeon?

Better safe than sorry.  If i were you I'd get a second opinion either way.
