My daughter, 24, discovered a lumpLumps in the breasts in her breast and as she has no health indurance went to the Planned Parenthood to have it looked at. It was noted at aprox 2.5cm. They referred her to a womensWomens pack clinic where they performed an ultrasound this morning. The radiologist looked at the results and said he could not see anything on the ultrasound. How can that be???? This lumpLumps in the breasts is easily felt when feeling the breast. What do we do next? Please help....I am beside myself with fearFears and phobias. My daughter has a 5 year old littleLittle noses decongestant Little tummys boy with Down Syndrome and he needs his mom.
Often different types of tests will "see" different things. Was any additional testing recommended ?? I would think even though she is fairly young a Mammogram might be of some value. You might have the film read by another Radiologist or request further Imaging. Many health departments offer free mammograms on a limited basis so you might explore that also. Regards ....
