Under 40 breast screening

My mother died at 36 from Breast Cancer and I was wondering if there was anywhere in northern ireland that conpllete private breast screening for those aged under 40

I have just looked up a few private clinics for you on the internet, www.3fivetwo.com on the Lisburn Road, Belfast carry out mammograms, so I'm sure you will be able to book a private appointment with them.

I would ring Action Cancer in Marlborough Pk, Belfast and explain your situation, they may be able to see you or advise you on how to get an appointment. Have you asked your GP for a referral?

Alternatively, you could always call your nearest Breast Screening Clinic and ask for the name of a consultant and get the name and numbers of his/her secretary. Explain your situation and ask to book a private appointment.

Have been told that this setrvice is only available to those aged 40 and over I am 33

As a rule most Hospitals have mammography available as a part of their X-ray Department.
