Uneven Breast Tissue Density

I have recently been told that the density in my right breast is different than my left.  My right has always been a bit bigger.  It is also the one they are telling me is denser.  I have scheduled my follow up mammogram and ultra sound.  I had a baseline at 36, and this is my first mammogram since.  I just turned 40.  I have done some reading about breast density and Ultra sounds. It sounds like these two tests are done to probe better into the density and look for things that could be a problem.   My worry comes from the lack of information on whether breast tissue should be the same between the right and the left breast.  I had my mammogram during my menstral cycle,  does this affect the density(they do get tender right before my cycle)?  This whole process is very scary, and consuming.  Are the odds in my favor still, and are they just being thorough? Thank you for your time.

My breast are very uneven. My right breast is about a C cup and my left is an A cup.The right boob is very saggy and the left is perky . I can't wear a sports bra because the differnce is so obvious. I hate having my boobs like this.... I'm only 13 so this really bothers me, I mean BOTHERS me.... I don't know if somethings wrong with me or if this is normal, and im not sure on how I fix them. If anyone could e-mail at xrosie_cheeksx***@**** and tell me how to fix my boobs I would really appreciate it.

Dear TLinIL, It is not unusual to have one breast larger than the other, however, the overall density of the breast is usually similar.  If there is a difference between breasts we'd want to have more information to clarify the difference in density - to be thorough.

Breast tissue is often less dense early in the menstrual cycle so they may be more dense just before the time of your period.
