Very painful Breast.

My question is that in my left nipple is a hard spot and it hurts,(been like that for about 1year and 1/2. Now the whole breast hurts really bad and my left armpit is now getting very sore. My left breast is bigger than the right also. So I was wondering if this could be caused by cancer. My DR said that it was probably just hormones but I am not to sure about that. I had a partical Hystorectomy two years ago and I just have a bad feeling about it. I am 31.

Dear Sbryan, Further evaluation would need to be done to determine what would be causing this pain, as well as the lump if it was never investigated.  Evaluation would begin with physical examination and discussion of the nature of the pain, and medical history.  You might consider seeing a breast specialist for another opinion.

i also have a painful breast. it doesnt hurt all the time. i kind of feel just like a black and blue when something hits it.  i dont really notice anything different from my other just a little bump but when i go to check and see if it a lump, it moves. its not hard or anything. if i put my breast in another position, i dont feel it. i hink it might be a cyst but im not sure.
