WHATS HAPPENING TO MY MOM?????

Hi my name is rebbecca and i am 28. my mom is 44 years old and is going into surgery on the 16 of this month for a double mastectomy. i think i am in denial and also scared all at the same time. my question is what will need to happen after surgery when she gets home. she is also gettin her lymph node taken out to see if it has spread to the rest of her body. and she is also getting reconstruction done all at the same time. how long does the surgery last and what is the possibility of something happening?
