Weird Breast Pain

I had a baby boy about 16 months ago. Whenever I drink any kind of liquid my breasts hurt. I can't get it to stop. Also. around the circumference of my nipples there are little red dots all over both breasts. They sometimes hurt as well. It is keeping me from doing a good job at my place of business. I was wondering if anyone could tell me why.

Is it possible to have an infected milk duct? Were you breast feeding?

I was breast feeding yes. I have no idea what that is. I had to change over to the pump because of he could not have my breast milk and they grew two sizes. Then they told me to wrap them tight for a night to empty them out because of the pain I was in. What would an infected milk duct be like???
