Worried

I found a dimple under my breast on my bra line more to the left ov my Sterum think that's what it's called lol finding ov the dimple made me feel around and then found a lump deep In the dimple u have to really feel for it so I when to the doc which they felt this lump to and really didn't know what it was she didn't say anything but she don't think it's I'n the breast let's get a scan on it and see what it is have anyone got the same
kind ov thing could this be a tumor but it's not I'n the breast she said but sending me to breast clinic some one got any clue

Hi,
It's hard to say what this lump could be.Many women have these kind of lumps under the breast,almost on the rib cage beside the sternum.
Some have been diagnosed with a benign lump called a lipoma,which is a form of soft tissue tumor,others with muscle inflammation,abscess,cyst etc.
I am not saying that the lump you have,is one of them, but it's a possibility.
I am sure the scan will let you and your doctor know exactly what's going on.

Well got my appointment today it's next wednesday that was quick did think a cyct but would that cause a dimple there to ???

Glad to know that you got an appointment for next week.
A breast dimple can be caused by several kind of lumps,including a cyst.
It occurs because something inside the breast is pulling the tissue inwards causing the dimple.
Hoping that the scan will clarify things for you.

Well had my scan today not looking good after they done a mammogram then a biopsy waiting on the results but have told me it's a solid mass x

Had the results I have  fibromatosis in chest have to have it surgical removed I'n 3 weeks not nice but just glad it's not cancer
