My mother, 79 years old, has breast cancer that has reoccured now in her liver. She had a breast removed over ten years ago and was on Tamoxifin (tamoxifenTamoxifen Tamoxifen citrate) for five years. This new diagnosis ocurred over a year ago. Since then, she has been on Xeloda, 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off. She has reoccuring bouts of diarhhea and nasua and is weak and tired. Her doctor is suggesting that she try going off of the chemo and do these hormones instead, Arimnidex or Femara. Has anyone had experience with these? Thanks!
