abdominal eventration

I had Diep surgery in Oct 09 on my left breast. I have since developed a bulging muscle right side abdominal.  The plastic surgeon who did the Diep recommends using mesh to pull it in.  Hss this procedure been effective.  What would you recommend.  There is not much pain as of now.

The solution suggested by your Plastic Surgeon sounds right. This would be similar to the procedure used in hernia repair. I see no reason why it wouldn't be effective.   Regards ....
