I also would like to note that the thickening was found in the left breast under the nipple to the bottom of breast.

Dear Fiana:  CT scans are not generally the best evaluation for identifying problems in the breast.  Mammograms and Ultrasounds are better tools.  Of course, these are not perfect either.  If she is having symptoms, they should be brought to the attention of her oncologist.  If you are uncomfortable, you could ask to see a breast specialist.  These are often affiliated with large academic medical centers.
