am I wrong for taking Tamoxifen

I take Tamoxifen, I have been taking it for almost a year, I had stage 1 breast cancer,I had it removed and had the radiation treatments. Then, I was put on Tamoxifen for 5 years.I have alomst all of the side effects, my husband and I have filed for a divorce, he said that he thinks that the tamoxifen has made me a different person, quote , crazy,  thinking that I am a man, and wanting to control everything. We have been married for 30 years. its was a hard break up, but he said he couldn't take my constant accusal of him drinking, and my constant complaining about everything. My friend had stage 3 breast cancer, took Tamoxifen for 5 years, 2 weeks later at her check up the found more cancer. What to do ???

I take tamoxifen too. I don't think I'm crazy, then again, I'd probably be the last one to know, yes? ;)

I'm sorry your husband was a sorry so & so and that he put the heap of bs on you. People generally blame others for their shortcomings. As for your friend, cancer happens. Tamoxifen at least gives you some protection by blocking estrogen. I know my odds of recurrence but I choose to use the tools available to help myself to live a longer productive life. Who knows, I may get to be a grandmother some day :) .. or not, maybe I'll just get a puppy lol
