anastrazole

I've been taking anastrazole for five yrs and I will see my doctor tomorrow if I should take it longer.Do you have a suggestion or questions I should ask my oncologist so I can make a better decision?

Hi,
There is really not much to ask regarding this medication.
Usually Arimidex (Anastrazole) is prescribed for five years, but some Oncologist prefer if patients take the drug for 7 or 10 years in total.
If the drug is well tolerated, then you can continue taking it, IFyour Oncologist recommends it.However if you have been suffering from side effects, you should tell your doctor about it,who might decide that 5 years are enough.
Wishing you continuing good health...
