There could be an infection in your nipple that caused that caused the on and off discharge coming from your nipple. An abscess of the areolar gland can be a consideration. The sebaceous glands of Montgomery may become inflamed, forming palpable abscesses in the periphery of the areola. A malignancy should be ruled out.
