I have lymphedema in my arm from breast cancer surgery in 1997. I have been having a problem when I have a mammogram. I usually end up with cellulits in my arm about 3 days after the mammogram. Any suggestions??
Yes, my suggestion is to take that very seriously, and not to listen to anyone who tells you mammograms do not cause, or worsen lymph-edema.
I don't know wham i would talk to in your case, but my guess is that you need to be treated much more gently, and/or otherwise with an ultrasound, or some other way, instead. Kat
