atypical hyperplasia

Four years ago I had 2 surgical biopsies. Both atypical hyperplasia. I have been on Tamoxifen for 4 years and have had mamos every 6 months. The last mamo showed new calcifications. Stereotactic biopsies of the areas came back as atypical hyperplasia. All areas are on the left breast but in different areas. I am 51 and have no family breast cancer history. What are my options?

Was Tamoxifen the only treatment you received ?? Often Radiation is recommended followed by Tamoxifen. I think you should rely on your Oncologist as far as what your options are at this point. ADH does increase your risk of developing breast cancer in the future.
