benign core need biopsy

Core needle biopsy was benign. Just had surgical biopsy. Waiting for results and very nervous. How accuracte is breast biopsy Core needle 18 gauge and 8 samples

I'm not sure why the surgical biopsy after the core biopsy and the accuracy depends on the site biopsied. If the wrong area was sampled then it wouldn't be accurate at all. If the same area that was sampled by core biopsy was removed surgically I would think the results will be the same. All needle type biopsies take much smaller samples of course than when a surgical biopsy is done and an 18G needle isn't very large.     Regards ....
