benign cyst in left breast

Hello Doctor
My Wife,28 years, got pregnant in june 2007 n in those same days we notice a lump in her left breast.
We approach doctor for examination we done Breast Ultrasound but it is not clear and not declared as calcification so recommended for Mammogram and FNAC.
We done FNAC and finding said it as Benign proliferative breast disease.
Finally doctor let me to take decision as Mammogram can't be done in pregnancy.
We aborted the pregnancy and approach again this time we go for mammography but
there doctors reject to do mammogram as FNAC said it is benign so they alert me if it is benign it may turn to malignant if passes radiation to breast. so we donot done mammogram.
Doctor,  this lumps seems hard and more visible before PERIODS
and seems soft and less visible after PERIODS. thats all i notice.
Finally doctors give her "vitaxid" to take for 10 days every months , for 3 months observation time.
kindly let me know how i proceed for it.
