biopsy results

I had a needle aspiration biopsy.  It was read as DCIS.  The second read was atypical cell clusters.  I then had a mammotone-type biopsy.  It was read as juvenile hypertrophy.  It also indicated hyperplasia.  What should my next step be?  Thank you for your time.

Dear brightonbecky:  In general, when biopsies are done and there is tissue to examine, the problem is diagnosed and treated as the most aggressive one that is identified (in this case the DCIS).  If there is doubt about the results, you could have all the tissue reviewed at another pathology lab.  You may wish to discuss this with your surgeon. The appropriate recommendations will depend on the imaging findings, exam and final pathology review.

I may have to go in and get a surgical biopsy done and was wondering how long it may take for results?
