What is a birad 5 in breast managram? after biopsy, how is it normally treated?

A BIRAD 5 score is strongly suggestive of malignancy (cancer) however it isn't 100%. I believe it's at least a 10% chance that the biopsy will come back as benign. The treatment after biopsy depends on many factors ... first of course whether it is indeed cancer and then how large the tumor. You would be referred to a Surgeon who would recommend which type of surgery would be best in your particular case. Then to an Oncologist who would formulate a treatment plan according to all the Pathology results, tests, history, etc.  Kindest regards ...
