My mother has painless lump in her breast and i am very much worried bcz she does not want to go for surgery.
i am copying the mammography and sonomammography report...please advice do we need to undergo fans or biopsy?

REMARKS:- Birads category 4c
A dense, ill defined lesion is noted in the right upper inner quadrant which is suggestive of malignancy. A prominent lymph node is noted in the right axilla.
A small hypoechoic lesion is noted in each breast as mentioned below which requires further evaluation.
Bilateral mammography has been performed in the cranio-caudal (cc)and medio-lateral ablique (MLO)projections. The positional markers have been placed in the axillary and lateral portion of the breast. A lead marker is placed over the site of the palpable lump in the right breast.
The breast reveal a mixed fatty and fibroglandular parenchyma.
A dense, irreqular ill defined lesion is noted at the site of the palpable lump in the right upper inner quadrant(red arrows) on sonomammography, it is heterogeneous predominantly hypoechoic, ill defined and measures about 2.1 x 1.5 x1.1 cms in size.
A solitary benign calcification is seen centrally in the left breast. Vascular calcifications are seen bilaterally.
There is no skin thickening or nipple retraction bilaterally.
On sonomammography, a small hypoechoic lesion measuring 5mm in size is noted in the right retroareolar region at 12 0' clock position. Another hypoechoic area measuring 8x.5mm in size is noted in the left lower inner quadrant. A prominent lymph node measuring 1.8 x 0.8cms in size is noted in the right axilla with partial preservation of the fatty hilum.
