breast bump.

I was just curious this has has happened to anyone else, I grew a bump on my right breast, but it's right at the top of my breast. Its sensitive to touch only sometimes, it's been here for over a week now and has not gone down. Should I get this checked out ? Or is breast cancer uncommon in healthy 18 year olds ??

Hi,

This could be the normal onset of secondary breast development associated with puberty. It is also called thelarche.

This could also be due to hormonal changes associated with your menstrual cycle.

You need not worry about it too much. If you are still concerned  and worried get a proper examination done by a physician.

The chances that this is cancer are minimal.
