Probably absolutely nothing to worry about at all. But, that said, call your doc and get his/her opinion. If there is a strong family history, you want to stay on top of any changes in your breasts...

Hi,
Most nipple discharges are caused by benign conditions particularly when nipples are squeezed, because it increases the Prolactin hormone level and the more you squeeze the nipple the more the discharge will continue.
This fluid can be many colors and consistency and the amounts of discharge vary with different women.
Women who are on birth control pills and some tranquilizers, produce more prolactin and may have more discharge.
When to be alarmed about discharge is when it happens only on one side, comes out spontaneously( without squeezing),is persistent and bloody.
If you are overly worried about this discharge and because you have a strong family history of breast cancer( mother), I would advise you to mention it to your doctor ,just to be on the safe side and for peace of mind.
I can understand your anxiety, but I don't think that you should be stressing about it,because most discharges are not indicative of something bad..
Take care and best wishes..
