breast cancer alternative treatment

After a lumpectomy with node dissetion, I am thinking , I must see a good Alternative Treatment Doctor.
I am Stage I, nodes clean of invasion,I have not yet seen a Clinical Oncologist, but if Alternative Treatment is
going to boost my inmune sysytem, to fight re-ocurrance, I think, it is all worthy.After reading about the side effects of Chemo, Radiation ( is the same Radiation we have been told to avoid?), Taxol, and on and on drugs, I am incline to try
treatment  with a good oncologist-alternative Doctor. ANY OPINION AND COMMENTS WILL BE WELCOME

I know of NO alternative treatment for breast cancer .... I think you would be wise to see the Oncologist and discuss this with him/her before making any decision about your treatment. Many factors must be considered in the formulation of a treatment program as each cancer as well as each person is different. Choosing an alternative treatment (and I'm not sure what that would be) in my estimation would be very foolish with any type and stage of cancer. It is true that Chemotherapy does have side effects but not everyone will experience all these or to the same degree.  Regards .....
