breast cancer and hysterectomy

I was diagnosed with breast cancer eight years ago at the age of 32 i finished a 5 year course of tomoxifen 2 years ago.I have always suffered from painful heavy bleeding i have also just found out after my recent mammo and US scan that i have a lot of fluid filled cysts in both breasts which become very swollen and painful before my period.
I would like to know if i would benefit from a complete hysterectomy as i know i cant take HRT to help these problems.

Dear hendo:  Removing the ovaries (oopherectomy) along with a hysterectomy will result in a surgical menopause.  Removing the uterus will eliminate the heavy bleeding.  Menopause may or may not reduce the occurence of breast cysts.  You should discuss the pros and cons with your doctor as they relate to your situation.
