breast cancer chemo

Dear sir ,

Although the physicians are still confused about the results(posted to you 0n 8/23/06-first cancer in the breast was highly hormons positive and the second on the lymph nodes was hormons negative) they insist to start chemo as soon as possible. (I have been operated on the 7/28/06 and have removed 17 lymph nodes. One had metastasis and the second micrometastasis.)

The proposed chemo is:

1) TAXOL 220 mg
2) Gemzar 1gr x 2 mg
3) Gemzar 20 mg x 8 mg
4) Zofran tab x 5
5)Zofran amp. 8 mg x2
6)Phenergan tab 10mg x 8
7) Depo-Medrol 200mg x1
8)Dexamethason amp 4mg x 6

The previous (first) chemo almost 3 years ago was:

1)Endoxan-Asta  200mg
2)Farmorubicin 50mg(2)
3)5-Fluorouracin  250mg
4) Farmoroubicin powder for injection  10mg(2)

Do you agree with the proposed chemo?
Please answer as soon as possible because i start immmediately.

Thank you in advance

Dear Souvla,  Taxol and gemzar are chemotherapies that are used in the treatment of breast cancer.  For additional information regarding these medications and side effects you can visit the website www.chemocare.com.  The remaining medications (Zofran, Phenergan, Depo-Medrol, and decadron) are support medications used to help in the management of  side effects of the chemotherapy.  We cannot give specific treatment recommendations over the internet - this recommendation is best left to the oncologists who can review your entire case.
