breast cancer in both breasts BI RADS 5

If I have bi rads of 5 is it most likely that its not contained to the breast

IF you have only had mammogram and or Ultrasound and have been categorized as BIRADS 5 and have had no biopsy as yet the answer is NO !  BIRADS 5 means that the finding on film is highly suggestive of cancer .... still doesn't mean DEFINITE ! A biopsy will need to be done before a diagnosis can be made. IT is VERY UNLIKELY that you would have breast cancer in both breasts but you could have some finding that did suggest that cancer cells were present.   Regards .....
