breast cancer

I am 64 years old have a mamo gram yearly-had one in april 2010 today had phy check out right breast near nipple he said it seems to be a thickening or fibroid  what am i looking at????

I would think that you should be having another Mammogram OR at least an Ultrasound to further investigate this ? thickening. As far as what you're looking at .... it could be nothing more than a simple increase in density of your breast tissue or possibly a Fibroadenoma but you will need some type of imagery to determine the exact cause.  Regards ...
