breast hypoechoic nodule with ill defined borders

I have a hypoechoic solid nodule at left breast that meausured 1.5 x 0.9 x 1.2 and it increased to 16.9 x 16.2 x11.3 and shows irregular contour and excision biopsy consideration.
The impression says that the nodule has ill defined borders and the caterory says "Left Breast - suspicious for malignancy).  I have to wait 2 more days for my doctor's apointment. Should I be worried??

Hi,
On ultrasound, a solid mass appears as a gray or hypoechoic area. In order to decide if the mass is suspicious enough to require further testing, your radiologist will look at the edges of the mass, called the margins.If the margins are smooth and the mass is round or oval, it is most likely benign (not cancer). If the edges are irregular, then it is more concerning and a biopsy is necessary to determine if cancer cells are present
Keep in mind that many times even suspicious solid nodules,when biopsied,turn up to be benign in nature.
