breast pain

I am a 29 yr old female, I had a lot of pain and tenderness in my left brest, nothing I did would make it better, not wearing a bra, putting hot or cold, its not dimpling or puckering or hot to the touch or changing colors or having discharge,I have ahd four ultra sounds and four mamograms, they finally saw a fibronoma, I had a fibronoma in my left breat removed, but shortly after it started hurting like it did before, I went back and went through the same thing only this time, the only thing they said was I have a cyst and was too small to do anything and to small to be causing my problems, Should I look else where like my lymph nodes or something in the chest that might be causing my to hurt in my breast? I don't know what to do. the pain in my breast gets so bad I can't sleep on that side or touch it. I feel like its in my head and im going crazy, the doctors said nothing was worng or causing this and they coudlnt see anything on the scans they had performed? should I keep pushing the issue?

Thank you so much, that was really helpful, I will start looking into a breast specialist or pain doctor.

Hi,
Many conditions could cause breast pain.Fibrocystic breast condition would be the first thing that comes to mind.
Aside reducing caffeine intake caffeine intake (coffee, tea, soft drinks, chocolate) try to maintain a low fat diet rich in fruits and vegetables.Losing excess weight may reduce breast pain by stabilizing hormone levels.
Other breast pain possibilities could be due to Costochondritis,(inflammation of the ribs' junctions to the breastbone) a pinch nerve in your spine, or a pectoral muscle injury.
I think you should discuss these possibilities with your doctor so this pain you are experiencing can be further investigated.
Best wishes...

Fibroadenomas do indeed cause discomfort/pain and each of us has a different response to this .. it may seem minor to some when the same thing will be nearly intolerable to someone else. Since you had one tumor removed you could have some nerve involvement due to scar tissue and that could certainly cause pain. I'm not sure what DR.s you have seen but you might consider a Breast Specialist if you haven't seen one already. If that isn't a possibility then perhaps see someone at a Pain Clinic. Here's hoping you can find some relief from this constant pain soon.   Regards ..

And trust me I have heard it all, I don't drink caffine or eat chocolate, I even questioned weather it was hormonal, but my pain is always and constant and does not change with my periods, I even at one point was on brith control for my ovarian cysts, but the pain in my breast was still there.
