breast tenderness and itchiness

I am 47 year old and I have been experiencing breast tenderness and kind of left breast itcy and increase in size. But suddenly it becomes normal and again I notice little swolen or increase in size. Nipple and all around the breast i do have itchiness and when i apply oil or lotion it will go away. But what Iam more worried is tenderness in both breasts.
Even after menustral cycle is over with in tendays I am feeling the pain and tenderness. Please advice me about my symptoms if they are cancer related. My menustral cycle were very irregular until last 4 years. Now they are very regular like between 27-30 days gap. Please suggest me about my symptoms

Without examination it's impossible to speculate about your concerns. I would suggest that you make an appointment with your family Physician for a clinical examination and possibly additional testing (perhaps either mammogram or Ultrasound). As a rule this cyclical breast tenderness is due to the hormone levels in the body but any change or breast issue deserves some investigation.
